Google Adsense And Adult Content
One of the many questions rose while using Google Adsense is, will it be compatible if your site has exhibits adult content? Google Adsense is a service of Google that displays targeted ads to your website and pay you if your visitors click on that ad. While many webmasters are busy creating and updating their website, some webmasters create site for the purpose of displaying adult content only and now they are asking themselves if Google Adsense is compatible with it.
To understand the problem first we need to define what is Adult Content? In simplest form, they represent explicit elements which are mature in nature not suitable by kids or other persons. The Google Adsense Policies clearly states that “sites may not include: Excessive profanity, Violence, racial intolerance, or advocate against any individual, group, or organization, Hacking/cracking content, Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia, Pornography, adult, or mature content, Gambling or casino-related content,” among many others.
Examining the above statement still could raise misunderstandings among Google Adsense users. For instance, what if you have a forum where people discuss about adult content? While is it very easy to judge mature content on images and videos, but it is entirely different when it comes to discussions.
Until Google finds a way to clarify all these things and make their policy as accurate as possible, there will still be many cases with dashing hopes and complains against their account being shutdown by Google
