Hound Dog HDP6-4 Products Steppin’ Edger Review

The purpose of the Hound Dog Steppin Edger is to edge sidewalks, curbs, etc.

Pros: Even after the grass has been cut and all of the shrubs, bushes, and hedges have been trimmed, there is still one more job that must be done before the yard work is complete. The sidewalks and curbs must be edged. The grass must come right up to the edge of the sidewalk or the curb, but it can’t hand over the edges.

315MXQCZR3L._SL500_AA300_.jpgThere was a time when edging meant getting down on your knees and using an edger that was handheld. It was a back-breaking job. The Hound Dog Steppin Edger has taken a lot of the work and all of the pain out of the edging job. The Hound Dog Steppin Edger uses natural walking motion to cut a clean edge, making it easy on your back with large, comfortable footsteps.

Cons: I like plainly stated and unqualified statements of a satisfaction guarantee. There is no such statement on the Home and Garden Supply Center website that I could find, and that always raises a red flag for me. However, I can find no cons associated with the Hound Dog Steppin Edger.

Guarantee: There is a statement on the Home and Garden Supply Center website that says, “Your satisfaction is our commitment.” However, I can find no explicit statement of a guarantee. It appears that most items are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Value for money: The Hound Dog Steppin Edger is a very reasonably priced and well made tool. It is a good value.
