Paypal Philippines EON Withdrawal Problems
I usually do transfer to my EON account three (3) to four (4) times a month. Last January 24, I did the usual procedure of transferring funds. I expected that in a matter of 5 days all things will be cleared and the money will have to be in my EON account. Today is February 4, 2008 but still I am not seeing any trace of our hard-earned money. Paypal Philippines must have a withdrawal problems.
I called Unionbank EON but unfortunately, they are unhelpful with the situation. From what I understood from the operator, it is on the Paypal’s end and not from them. I checked my account, and yes, the status is still pending. To double check if it really is on the Paypal’s side, I added another account from BDO Equitable Bank and guess what the status changed from Pending to Completed in a matter of 1 day! Would this mean that there is a problem between EON and Paypal?
Searching thru the internet for a possible solution, I found this posting worth your time reading http://www.pdncommunity.com/pdn/blog/article?message.uid=62449. It seems they are having maintenance during that day (January 24) and the problem just got worsen.
Whatever Unionbank EON and Paypal is talking internally, I hope this will be fixed soon. This has caused a lot of inconvenience not only for me but for all Pinoys who are making their living through the internet, paid the $5 transaction fees and waited 5-7 days before they could get their money.

I have the same situation for my withdrawal on January 25. Still “PENDING”. I have no other card to add so I’ve just wrote Paypal to fix this very dissapointing incident.
I just wonder how long will Paypal respond to my message. if this takes long then my money’s stuck.
Just want to let you know, I think the issue is now resolved. Mine shows completed status now.

Uh oh, looks like I’m in the same situation here. I withdrew last February 1. I know there have been problems but I was hoping it will clear out by this time. Kaso, di pa dumadating till now. Iniexpect ko yun kahapon.
happened to me also. used to work fine last month. but this time i withdrew my funds last march 1 and it didn’t arrive in my eon account. it returned to my paypal account on march 11. this is so frustrating. union bank didn’t help at all in answering my questions. i’ll try calling paypal and ask them.

i tried withdrawing to my bank account with eon just yesterday .. hope i get my money faster and that my pending withdrawal gets completed soon enough..
