How To Start Eviction in Ohio

How should I evict a tenant?
I need to know how evicting a tenant goes? I live in New York and I own a house. For a couple of months now, I let a friend stay with me but I now see the need for him to leave. Problem is he won’t leave. He does pay the cable but no rent. Should I just email him an eviction notice that he should leave in 30 days?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks.

Video on How to Evict a Tenant for Not Paying Condo Dues
Here’s a short video that shows the power of landlords in evicting non-paying condo tenants. Illinois law empowers Condo Associations the ability to collect unpaid dues. Although a condo owner may be able to work with their mortgage company regarding a modification or short sale, or even delay a foreclosure, the same time frames don’t apply to condo dues.
Eviction Question: Partial Payment Sent
I’ve been told that you can’t be evicted if you pay even half of the due. Is this true? Have you been on a similar situation? Mom already sent half of our rent today and the other half tomorrow afternoon. The eviction court is scheduled at 8:30am and we won’t have that money later on that day. We live in Colorado and we’re totally helpless about this. Anyone?
