What You Can Do With Google’s Filtering for New Websites
If you own a new website, you are likely to experience hard times when it comes to ranking. Why Google has implemented this and what you can do with your brand new site?
Older websites tend to get more high rankings. Why?
This is true. If you have an old website, working on its ranking is far easier than working on a new one. This is because spammers are setting up content websites in hope of scraping income from Ads. Or, webmasters used them to test new search engine techniques. Overtime, Google implemented an algorithm to down rank new domains until Google thinks that they can be trusted.
What you can do to overcome Google’s mindset?
Before Google allows your domain to get high ranking, you need to make sure that your site is trustworthy. For that reason, do the following tips below.
Keywords, keywords and keywords.
Start with the right keywords. While it is nearly impossible for your new site to get top ranking on highly competitive keyword such as ‘organic gardening’ why not try to a more specific one such as ‘organic gardening in Atlanta’
Get links to your website.
Without links you website will not get any top rankings on Google. Research related niches and get links from them. If some trusty website links to your site, Google will rank you more quickly.
Website Optimization.
While links will give you high rankings on Google, you should be able to optimize your web pages so that the search engines will know what search term you are trying to rank high. See to it that Google ranks you on the right keywords you want.
The Deadly Wait State
If you do the above correctly, the next thing to do is wait. Google will eventually trust your site and give you the ranking everybody desperately wants to have.
